An idea, long before the doors opened.

Placebo was born from an idea that started long before the restaurant opened its doors. For Ogunsola Adesegun, Founder and MD/CEO, the name had been on his mind since his high school and college years; inspired by the meaning behind the word, he envisioned a brand that would bring the idea of feeling better into an entirely different setting, through food, hospitality and memorable experiences.

When Placebo became a reality, the vision was clear; to create a restaurant where exceptional food, genuine hospitality and a thoughtfully curated atmosphere come together. From its beginnings it has continued to evolve while staying rooted in that original purpose; a dining experience people can enjoy, return to, and make their own.

Placebo has been shaped by the people behind it, the team who have grown it, and the guests who have made it part of their everyday moments and special occasions. From casual meals and conversations to birthdays, celebrations and date nights, it is where food brings people together and experiences become memories.
